My apologies for not getting back to the blog recently, it's been a very busy couple of weeks!
Among other things, I have a new job (not in journalism), and it's taking up quite a bit of my time.
I hope you will all stick with me as I try to figure out my new schedule. More to come. Promise. :-)

- I am a "recovering journalist"--- I spent more than 17 years in TV news rooms across the country as a producer, reporter and anchor. I left the business for the same reason I got into it--- I want to help make the world a better place, and doing stories about Britney Spears wasn't really helping me achieve that goal anymore. I believe in the power of love and kindness. I believe that acts of random kindness are contagious--- and in that sense, I believe each of us has within us the power to change the world for the better.
